Original Objectives (2024)

  • Build at least 345 units of very low income affordable housing on land now used for Parking Plazas 1, 2 and 3.
    Note: These households make at most 50% of the San Mateo County average median income (AMI).

  • Replace at least 506 of existing 556 public parking spaces.

  • Enhance the vitality of downtown Menlo Park.
    Note: No specific strategies, policies and civic investments were identified.)

    Note: These households make 15% to 80% of San Mateo County average median income (AMI).

    Note: some parking spaces can be shared with affordable housing residents during “non-business” hours.
